Flying Monkey Arts Center is a not for profit community arts collective that encourages, supports and promotes events, workshops and studios featuring but not limited to music, film, theater, dance, puppetry, visual and performance art with a focus on experimental works for mature audiences.

FMAC advocates innovation and is committed to bringing to the public eye individual explorations and collaborations from diverse points of view.

With reasonable admission prices, FMAC cultivates new audiences with participation, dialogue and action. Linking community through the medium of live art.

FMAC is a serious laboratory for the arts, helping to facilitate shared and individual studio spaces. We believe experimentation and continuation is key to the creative process.

FMAC intends to develop a financial structure that includes artist remuneration and consider the artists as partners in the presentation of their work.

                                                                 Daydream Recording

         Daydream Recording started as a daydream in Norman,Ok. in the year of 2002. Erik Allen wanted to help himself, along with the music in his town, grow. So, Erik enrolled in classes at Rose State College and began persuing his degree in music recording. In the past years Erik has recorded many local, regional, and national artist. The recordings have been used for demos, live records and dvds, and even a tv show. Erik tries his best to focus on projects that are live. That’s not to say that he’s not open to any kind of project, he just belives live is where the magic happens. There’s nothing like everone feeding off of each other to make it happen. This page was set up to showcase his work along with the many talented artist he has come in contact with. The music that is going to be showcased here will be mostly live shows (unless otherwise stated) that Erik has recorded, past and present. Erik can set up 16 tracks at once and record them into Digital Performer 5. If you are interested in having a recording done you can contact Erik by email. If givin enough notice he will travel to wherever he is needed. All artist that will be showcased on this page have givin their permission.
